JQuery guide for beginner’s part 1

HI, this lesson should be able to get beginners up and running with jQuery very quickly, while also providing a good overview of what jQuery is capable and what we can do with jquery, before we are going to learn jquery we must know about jquery. I will try to give brief introduction in few words and it should be clear to readers.

A jquery is a lightweight and object oriented framework library developed by JavaScript developers. Jquery helps you do the simple selections of html elements on you page, we start writing jquery same as Javascript and before that we should include the jquery library in our document directly form jquery website or you can download and include in your webpage.

Ex: - calling form jquery site
<script src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.10.2/jquery.min.js"></script>
(Or) form your computer
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”jquery.min.js”></script>
All jquery code will write inside the document.ready handler this handler tell to code run’s when the DOM (document object model) is ready we simply say when the document is ready.
The bellow code runs when the DOM is ready and displays the alert box.
<script type=”text/jacascript”>

$(‘document’).ready(function(){

alert(‘this is jquery alert’);

});

</script>
